Topic 10 : Communication Skills

Assignment #1 - Blog Post
There are three types of communication:
1) Written:
letter: The problem with communicating with a letter is it might get lost and they may never receive it.
email: it might not get there or the person might not read it.
text message: The other person might not have signal or their phone could be turned off.

2) Verbal:
through speech: a phone call it can be a problem because it might have no signal or the battery might be low.
spoken word: face to face it might be a problem because they might be mad at each other and they might start fighting and start punching each other in their face.

Non-verbal:
Hug: it might be a problem because that person might not like to get huged and may think something wrong.
Blink: I've seen guys do that to girls when they want a girls attention so some girls don't like it I personaly don't like it cuz thats really annoying and lame.
Middle finger: its a bad way to communicate but a lot of people use it to express a very rude word.... but its a problem because it might cause a fight.

Assignment #2
im a very communicative person becasue Im very social with everyone. In my family I hug my family members to let them know I love them and I care for them. I also text a lot with my friends sometimes I prefer to text than to talk on the phone it all depends on the person.
I love to kiss my daughter and thats a way to communicate because I'm letting her know how much I love her even though she really doesn't understant much about that she's only 2.

In my service learning im very communicative with everyone i try to talk to everyone greet the people smile at them and do my best to make feel welcomed and well treated so that they can come back to shop there. I know that in a future I will succed in future jobs because im a very nice talkative person.
